The youths have for years complained about brutal killings, extortion, and harassment from the officers of SARS, and to date, nothing is said to be done about it.
Definitely pissed and tired of the whole scenario, the youths decided to go all out unto the streets to protest and as well they made good use of the popular social network, Twitter.
The hashtag #EndSars and #EndSarsNow traveled far and wide as it went on to be the number one trending topic worldwide. This brought attention and the stories of what was happening in Nigeria reached CNN, BBC, and other reputable news platforms.
This definitely would have been noticed by Chelsea players, Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori, and Antonio Rudiger.
These players took to their verified account on Twitter to air their voice to the ongoing crisis rocking the country.
